Richard and his wife Alex moved to Scunthorpe in September 2004 following the completion of his studies at Spurgeon’s College. Before going to college Richard trained as an engineer and worked for Barclays Bank as a project manager and branch manager.

Tom spent his early years living in Germany, but at the age of 11 moved to Scunthorpe. On 28 December 2003 Tom was baptised at SBC and has been a member ever since. He graduated from Mattersey Hall Bible College in June 2011 with a BA in Biblical Theology and was ordained into ministry as Assistant Pastor at SBC on 11 September. He also has a love for sports, especially Liverpool Football Club. Tom is married to Debbie and has a passion for working with the local community especially though Outward Focused Congregations.

Iain and his wife Kate became part of the church at the start of 2005 when they moved to the Scunthorpe area. Before he began working for the church in his current role, Iain worked for O2 for 9 years as a Senior Retail Branch Manager.

Helen is a local girl, she and husband Steve became part of this church in 2004. Helen joined the Staff Team in June 2012 after serving in a voluntary capacity for just over two years. Coming from a HR background, her key strengths are administration and project management. An active member of our Coaching and Preaching Teams, Helen's call and role at SBC is to resource, equip and support the body of Christ at SBC, and organise our major events.

Steve grew up in Scunthorpe and has been a part of the church for some time. He took on the role of Centre Manger in 2004. Before this Steve worked at Humber Merchants and as an electrician in the RAF.

Alison Robinson, originally from Colchester in Essex, has served as the Missions Co-Ordinator at SBC for many years. In September 2012 Alison was appointed as a consultant to oversee our Youth Development work. She has responsibility to lead and support those who run our weekly SBC Youth group.
