Street Pastors is a new initiative to bring the love of God to people in our town centre on a Friday and Saturday night. SBC is one of the partner churches and is involved in the developing and running of this great new ministry. (Website coming soon)

SBC has partnered with Christians Against Poverty (CAP) to provide the CAP Money course. CAP Money is a comprehensive yet astonishingly simple money management course to help you get, and then stay, in control of your finances. Click here to find out more or download an enrolment form here.
In addition, we are planning to open a CAP Centre, which will enable us to deal with poverty and debt throughout our community. More information will be published soon.
SBC has partnered with The Trussell Trust to create the Scunthorpe Foodbank. Scunthorpe Foodbank is an exciting new initiative to bring free food to individuals and families in crisis. Click here to find out more.
Working in partnership with the local branch of the Alzheimer’s Society and with Freshstart, our church hosts a Dementia Café on the first Friday of each month between 10.00am and 12.00pm. The café provides an informal setting where dementia sufferers or families and friends of sufferers can chat to health experts and enjoy fellowship with carers and pastoral visitors. The café is open to anyone who wishes to know more about any type of dementia.
On the second Tuesday of each month from 1pm until 3pm, a Craft Workshop takes place in the church building. This is open to anyone who wishes to experiment with different types of craft (a very small charge is made to cover the costs of materials) as well as enjoying a time of fellowship with others.
