[Aiming Higher] One of the most important things for a follower of Jesus is to grow to become more like him. 'Aiming Higher' is a resource produced by SBC designed to enable Christians at all stages of faith to move on and reach new heights on their spiritual journey. It is based on research carried out by Willow Creek, known as the Reveal Survey. Therefore, the activities and beliefs detailed in the questions are not only biblical, but proven to be linked to spiritual growth.

2010 [:snowball-web-2010-400.gif] The 3rd annual Scunthorpe Baptist Church Snowball took place at Forest Pines on Saturday 30th January 2010. We even had a flutter of snow that day which the organiser had not managed to arrange but it was very apt. This event is organised by the church so that everyone in the local community can come along and enjoy an evening of eating and entertainment but at the same time support a well deserved charity.
